Coron, The Cool

Went to Coron last week aka Busuanga aka the Philippine Safari.

5 days in the middle of the end of the semester might have been a bad idea but Coron was picturesque and a aquaman’s heaven. Calauit was hot safari with zebras and giraffes that we fed by hand. All prey no predators in Calauit other than local rebel groups.

The best place to eat in Coron Hand up pants down!

Coron Bistro, ate there 3 times, twice for breakfast and at the price it was great, yet oily. I would really recommend the traditional breakfast: two eggs, bacon, fresh French bread, real butter yes not margarine, and applesauce.

Coron is definitely a place to return too yet I wonder what the might El nido has to offer. This was a great trip and my highlights where Malcapuya Island where we saw giant clams like in 100 Island’s and boracay like beach and snorkeling coral garden and the shipwreck.

Great beaches, great town, great food and lakes that aren’t salty is Busuanga, Coron. I like the beach but don’t like the salt water feeling especially after drying up without rinsing with fresh water. Coron offers a beach lover’s, snorkel lover’s, and nature lover’s dream.
We stayed at the Darayonan Resort in Coron. I found the place great and reasonably priced. The pricing is from 700 for one person to 2500p a room or more depending on accommodation. The food here is mediocre and would recommend eating elsewhere. Internet is also not really available here. No wifi so that was a downer. There was a place 3 blocks or so away on the highway that had an internet café at 30p an hour. Goodbye Coron!
